BEASTLY THEORIES - is a low tech, low key, low brow endeavour, hosted by author of Beasts of Britain & Beasts of the World book series - Andy McGrath, as an attempt to discuss the highs and lows of paranormal research and obsession. Although ’podcast’ in name, the ’show’ is more of an exercise in nepotism, as Andy seeks conversation with those embroiled in the subject he is chiefly interested in, and determines to avail himself (and you) of the prize of knowledge that lies inside their brawny brains.

Monica Rawlins is an experienced outdoorswoman with an extensive background in cryptozoological research and the paranormal. She has been a field researcher for over 17 years and has traveled across the U.S. to conduct her research. She’s worked extensively in television, and radio, where her quick wit and a no-nonsense attitude toward research and evidence has garnered her a solid fan base.
Having grown up in Northern California, with summers in remote SW Oregon, Monica has many stories of possible close encounters with unknown cryptids and in early winter of 2014, she had a life-changing Dogman sighting. All focus since that encounter has shifted almost exclusively to this pursuit.
While her main research recently has been dedicated to the search for Bigfoot and Dogman, Monica has also kept an active interest in all things cryptozoological and paranormal. Her points of interest and knowledge are Native American legends with a focus on Skinwalkers and Windego. When time permits, Monica also researches and investigates ghosts and hauntings in the North Texas Area. In addition to Monica’s paranormal investigations in Texas, she also has extensive knowledge of hauntings and legends of the British Isles.
